Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 1 January 2026.

What we collect

Account data

Name, work email, company and billing details for the people who administer a maggio account.

Conversation data

Messages exchanged between your business and your customers on connected channels, together with the metadata those channels supply (timestamps, delivery state, channel identifiers).

Usage data

Product telemetry: which features are used, error traces and performance metrics. Used to operate and improve the service.

How we use it

Conversation data is processed to deliver the service you have configured: routing, automated replies, reporting and search. We do not sell it, and we do not use your customers' conversations to train models for other customers.

Legal basis

For customers in the EEA and UK, processing rests on contractual necessity for service delivery and on legitimate interest for security and product telemetry.

Retention and rights

Retention

Conversation data is retained for the period configured on your account, 24 months by default, and is deleted on request. Account data is kept while the account is active and for 90 days after closure.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of personal data at any time by writing to privacy@maggio.ai. We respond within 30 days.

Sub-processors

We use a small set of infrastructure and messaging sub-processors. The current list is available on request, and changes are announced in advance.
